If you have an uncomplicated cut, graze or wound think of the following remedies:
Arnica
Though Arnica is not the first remedy for wound healing, it will help with the shock of a minor accident and sore, bruised feeling that may accompany it. It should be given as soon as possible after any accident as a remedy but as a cream, it should never be put on broken skin.
Calendula (pictured here)
This humble flower has incredible healing powers. Marigold (its common name) contains properties that are antibacterial, anti fungal and anti-inflammatory, and it clears infection and promotes healing. It can be taken as a remedy to boost the healing process and also as a cream. It is the first remedy to think of for broken skin.
Hypericum
This nerve tonic will be helpful if the injury is to nerve-rich areas of the body such as fingertips, toes and teeth.
Ledum
Think of this remedy for puncture wounds from animal bites or stings, injections and so on.
Hepar Sulph
Think of this homeopathic antibiotic if a cut becomes infected, develops yellow pus and becomes tender and sensitive.
Using homeopathy around the home is easy and effective and can really help nip problems in the bud by speeding the healing process. Feel free to get in touch for more information.
